Join us at the World Equestrian Center and experience the prestige of this exceptional venue. Our farm is conveniently located just minutes away. Join us at HITS, a charming and intimate venue that offers a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable experience. Our farm is conveniently located just a couple miles from the venue. We will start the week with a lesson at home on Monday, followed by a schooling session at the showgrounds on Tuesday, where we will develop a tailored plan for the remainder of the show week.
If you seek to immerse yourself in the rich equestrian culture of Ocala without the obligation of competition, we offer an ideal package tailored for you. Enjoy a week of exploring the area's natural beauty through trail riding, cross-country schooling, and riding in some of the region’s most exceptional private arenas. You also have the opportunity to participate in lessons with renowned riders. Additionally, you can visit the World Equestrian Center to experience the exhilarating Saturday Grand Prix or indulge in a tranquil afternoon swimming with manatees.
What's It Cost?
Our weekly horse lease is just $2,000, and that includes everything you need—stall, shavings, grain, hay, daily care, tack, lessons, and trail rides! The only extra is show fees if you choose to compete. Need to trailer? No worries—transportation is included for a smooth experience. Feel free to bring your own trainer, or we can help you at the shows for an additional $400. It’s a full-service, worry-free package designed just for you!
If I don't show what else can we do in Ocala?
Ocala is the horse capital of the world, there is countless things to do. We'll customize based on your interests but we can trailer to many cross country courses to school, or visit some of the premier courses set in the area where you can trailer in and jump around open water and walls, etc. If you'd like we 'll arrange lessons with some top level coaches, and maybe visit a schooling show like the Local Champions Tour. The trail rides are phenomenal and we're working on a ride on the beach option.
In your free time, we can recommend a variety of local attractions, including kayaking adventures at Silver Springs, swimming with manatees, or visiting the Elephant Sanctuary. Of course, no visit would be complete without experiencing the thrill of the Saturday Night Grand Prix—an event you won’t want to miss.
What level riders are allowed?
We welcome riders of all levels— we have had absolute beginners and FEI competitors! If you’re looking to show, we recommend competing one level below what you ride at home. This keeps things confident, fun, and stress-free for both you and your horse. Think of it as the ultimate IEA week.
How do we match horses and riders?
It’s a personalized process! We’ll ask you for some videos and will chat with your trainer if you have one. We’ll also look at your show record to get a sense of your recent experience. Our horses are experienced and know their jobs well, so we’ll find the perfect match based on your skill level and size—making sure everyone enjoys the journey.
How do I sign up?
Simply send a $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your dates and your chosen horse. The remaining balance is due two months before your arrival.
How do I know what weeks you’ll be doing each package?
Great question! If you have a particular show date in mind, reach out early to reserve it. As sign-ups roll in, we’ll finalize the schedule for each week.
Can I speak to past clients?
100% we would love you to speak with clients that have leased from us before, we get its daunting and a website is very different than reality. We're happy to give you a host of references.
Do you do hunters and equitation as well as jumpers?
Our horses can be flexible but we have found that when you only have a few days with a horse riders can be most competitive when they participate in the jumpers.
Who are you?
Millbrook Equestrian LLC has run leases for years, we were based out of Colorado and would come down for season but have recently moved to Ocala. Alexia Honegger is the owner and main trainer - with clients winning coast to coast from .60 to Grand Prix, jumpers are our speciality.
